Unfortunately I have been there done that, got the t-shirt and the soundtrack. When I was 7, I hit my first huge let down of business life, a traffic problem. The older I got, the faster I seemed able to find the problems, the blocks and let downs.
As for a personal life, I got married, and we called it quits on our 4th wedding anniversary. After that I went on countless blind dates spent wondering what were my friends thinking. Then the few guys I dated were very bad for me.
It is easy to place blame
- This location is bad I can’t start a business here
- This business failed because the company I am working with is so bad.
- This job makes my life miserable.
- What is wrong with my friends that they set me up with him?
- Men (women) are jerks.
- Why is the world out to get me?
The problem is not with the other people, the problem is not with your job, your business, the programs you bought.
Unfortunately there is one thing that all of those problems circle around, and that one thing is you.
Yes, you have probably had bad job. Yes, you probably dated a bad person. Yes, you bought a bad program or more.
But there is still one thing that all those things go back to, and that is you.
You need to realize, this does not mean you are a bad person. This is not saying that you deserve the life you currently have. This is not a permission to hate yourself…
In fact, this is the complete opposite…
It is time to love yourself.
It is time to let your inner rockstar shine.
It is time for you to reach your full potential

For more years than I prefer to say, I was in that same boat. I did not love myself. I didn’t even like myself. To be completely honest, I hated myself.
And I attracted all the things that I felt I deserved, while my words were saying I want something better.
If you can’t look at yourself in the mirror, then how can you expect good things to look for you?
If you don’t like yourself how can you expect others to?
If you can not look in the mirror and say
- “Hey you, you are a beautiful person.”
- “You deserve the best”
- “You are awesome”
.
Then your inner rockstar is covered up with dirt and grime. But trust me, it’s still there. And the sooner you find it, the sooner you can reach your full potential.
